Get Involved

Our programs are designed to provide a safe haven for felines in need. We offer medical care and socialization to prepare them for their forever homes. There are several ways to get involved and help make a positive impact on the lives of our forgotten felines.

Volunteer

Looking for a way to spend a few hours each week with cats? Our Jones Valley adoption center needs volunteers! Duties include scooping litter boxes, refilling food, refreshing water, shaking out bedding, playing, snuggling, and loving the kitties. Can't commit to a regular schedule? No problem - we always need extra hands to fill in when folks are out of town, sick, or life gets in the way.

Foster Care Program

Forgotten Felines kitties don't live in a shelter...they live in loving foster homes! This ensures our kitties are well socialized, making them the most loving pets! Unfortunately, our foster homes are overflowing, and we need your help. If you have the space and love to share, our furry friends will bring the fun, cuddles, and biscuits to your home.

As with our Jones Valley adoption center, we rely on volunteers to care for and love our feline friends at the University Drive adoption center. Each shift is typically 2-3 hours, and duties include scooping litter boxes, refilling food, refreshing water, shaking out bedding, playing, snuggling, and loving the kitties. Whether you can cover a regular shift, or you want to fill in as needed, we welcome new volunteers.

We are dedicated to controlling the feline population through humane and effective TNR efforts. By spaying and neutering feral cats, we support the well-being of the felines and the overall community. Whether you have a feral cat population in need, or you want to join us in our TNR efforts, you can make a difference in the lives of local cats.

To help our kitties find their forever homes, we hold adoption hours for people to come and meet them (Saturdays 11AM-2PM at the University Drive PetSmart). If you are good with cats AND people, this is the purrfect opportunity for you! As an Adoption Counselor, you will interact with visitors to guide them to the perfect feline friend, screen potential adopters, and accept applications.
